I am sitting on a $5000 sofa in front of a painting worth at least $3800. My dad wouldn't tell us how much more, but I suspect quite a lot.. And while it is pretty and I wouldn't mind having it on my own wall, it's not ~$4000-pretty. And I like sofas from Ikea way better.
It sort of makes me feel like maybe I don't really spend a lot of money - but then again, he earns waaay more money than I do, so I guess in a way it's not that ridiculous. But it is.

Oh, and I spend even more money than that on sweets and candy. Come to think of it I should craft a sofa out of all the candy wrapping I never get rid off and would easily be sitting on a somewhat more or less comfortable 1200+ euros.

I had the opportunity to be ridiculously decadent tonight, because I was part of the band playing at this one place and therefore FREE DRINKS WOO. Instead, I had a single Corona, which tasted just assy enough to please my conscience.
