Ridiculous Decadency

Boro_Bandito:
There's a really good Asian Market in Elicott City up closer to Baltimore, and I could see myself spending a few hundred dollars just trying the wierd asian brand names and things I will never be able to pronounce, or even know what's in them.

But if you're down around D.C. you have to go to Generous George's Positive Pizza up in Alexandria, best.pizza.ever, and it looks really fuckin' awesome too, great atmosphere. First place I tried Goat Cheese, Grilled Ghicken and Artichoke Heart pizza, and my family and I have been making that everytime we make pizza these days.

Also, by nature of it being a pizza parlour you aren't going to spend 60 bucks a meal for one person there, just sayin'.

Darkbluerabbit:
For three years of high school I kept an aloe vera plant in my locker.

I took it out into the sun on Friday afternoons while waiting for my bus.

It finally died about a year after I took it home and left for college.

I miss my plant.

(Yep, I had a live plant in my locker.  Amazingly, I merely contributed to the John Hughesness of my high school.)

When it comes to decadence... I am a convert to good booze and drink Jameson even though I can't really afford it!

Ozymandias:
I refuse to drink cheap beer and with my next paycheck, I'm going to start my slow descent into scotch snobbery. My alcohol preferences are pretty much the length and breadth of my decadence. Everything else just seems like a waste.

Tomorrow night I'm going to eat at the Watergate hotel, and for a basic dinner it's 60 bucks. But there's so many awesome restaurants around..a French place, Chinese place, Turkish place, and an 8-course Moroccan restaurant with belly dancers. I'm going broke-ass poor by the end of next. week.

You need to be eating in Arlington.  More variety, less expensive.  But this is ridiculous decadency we're supposed to be talking about.  In which case, try Mandarin!  It's at the Omni.

And they have a Cheesecake Factory a couple miles west of Courthouse metro.
