Ridiculous Decadency

correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't medieval armor actual make falling off a bike (or a horse for that matter) worse? because it provides barely any shock absorbency and adds a whole lot of weight to the fall.

It's still better than an asston of road rash. And you'd probably just slide hella far instead of rolling and flipping like you would in leather.
