Ridiculous Decadency

I love clothes shopping! Being a girl is bad for my budget. On the plus side, I bought what is probably the second cutest skirt ever today. This was decadency seeing how I got a half paycheck because of spring break and still have to manage two weeks on half the pay.

redglasscurls:
After posting that, I reassessed my finances for the next 2 weeks and realized I am pretty much fucked, because I forgot that the netflix bill and my greenpeace donation both go through on this paycheck. I am pretty much screwed and will have to take money out of savings just to pay these obligations, even if I buy NOTHING at all otherwise.

--- Quote from: Anyways on 19 Apr 2008, 13:16 ---I spent 140$ on earbuds for my mp3 today. Holy goddamn, I just realized how much fucking money that is. I shouldn't have done that.

But they sound so gooood

edit: SO not to seem like a complete idiot, the earbuds I'm talking about are Skullcandy Full Metal Jacket, and they cost more than twice as much in Norway as in the US, given how undeservedly filthy rich we are.

The $20 Smokin' Buds work brilliantly for me. I can't see spending 7 times as much. *shrug*

It was 3 pairs of socks, Rachel. maybe $15?

Ladybug:
Smokin' Buds cost like $50 here, I think, and I'd consider that fairly cheap for decent ear buds. I don't think I'd spend $140 on earbuds, but I spent about $90 on my headphones, and it was totally worth it (Koss Porta Pro - they might not be awesome, but better than what I've had before). I hadn't realized how crap the iPod earbuds were until I got those.

Today I spent almost $45 on dinner for just myself (and some leftovers). It feels ridiculous, but I was craving that exact pizza, so I just had to get some. I wish I could actually get take-out once in a while, other than burgers/sandwiches, that didn't cost me a fortune.

valley_parade:
$45 pizza must be pretty damn awesome.

I went to Newbury Comics and spent $50 on vinyl and CDs. Though, it was National Record Store Day, and I got SO MUCH free stuff (a bunch of random 7"s, a few comps, stickers, etc)
