Ridiculous Decadency
idiolect:
I think my biggest, most obvious "splurge" of the past year is probably these:
>$300 Fluevog boots.
More recent splurges include fancy Belgian beer, a conch piercing, good food, as well as plane tickets & a stay at The Frenchmen (http://www.frenchmenhotel.com/).

I don't know what you guys are talking about. I personally find it really annoying to have way too much fabric on my hips and not nearly enough on my actual ass, which seems to be how those things are cut, and they do tend to look stupid on women who have something more than the Boy Ass to match their Boy Shorts. I know it's a little boring (I prefer to call it "classic"), but I'm a string bikini girl all the way.

I tend to occasionally splurge out a bit on clothes. Occasional fancy items of clothing. useually I am very stingy about everything. I almost didn't pay $40 for a nice jacket.
Last year it was this custom corset for $120:
And the other day after about a year of consideration (literally) I ordered this only in black for $150. Which you will all think is rediculous but which I love:

I don't know about "rediculous" but I do find it ridiculous, and I will ridicule you for having poor taste and spelling.

Ocarina654:
A week or so ago I spent 100$ in one night on dinner, a movie, a CD, and a DVD.
Dinner was at TGI Fridays.
Movie was Vantage Point.
CD: Opeth's Orchid
DVD: Daft Punk's Interstella 5555
Oh, and two Caramel Apple Empandas from Taco Bell much later.
I enjoyed myself that night, but now I don't have any money.
