Uber Ritter:
Man I need to play Planescape.
Morrowind will always have special place in my heart. As will Jedi Knight and Tie Fighter (or Freespace II, which is pretty much the definitive arcadey space combat sim).

Grim Fandango: I never had time to finish that game, but it deserves some recognition. (even if it got really hard at some points)
Mount & Blade: The demo was great ...
On a side note, my local game store (at the time) was giving away copies of PS:T with Vampire. I snagged two copies & lent one out to people. :)

Okay, let me get this straight. Your two favorite games are a game you never finished...and a demo?
Fletch:
Strangely ... yeah. Grim actually lasted for awhile compared to most other games & I enjoyed the story. Do I need to have finished it to say it had an excellent story? (eventually I'll find my saves again & leave the cat racing stadium) M&B just had some great combat. The arena I played in was a lot of fun (whether riding around lancing archers, trying to unseat a knight and take his horse or running from the aforementioned) and I daresay I'll get the full game when I have my own comp again.
I'd say Fallout, PS:T, Half-life & some others ... but I reckon enough people already know about them & agree.

Metal arms: Glitch in the System had an excellent storyline and gameplay. It didn't sell well strangely.
