(some of us know that already.)

I actually just graduated from Whitman College last year, which is right in Walla Walla.  It's a great little town known for onions and a growing wine industry.  Think early Napa valley, with tons of small family owned wineries that you can just stroll on in and have a taste while talking to the people who actually make it.  The wine industry has actually brought in some pretty good restaurants, art galleries, and other such classy places that really aren't as snobbish or pretentious as that might sound.  Since it's in eastern WA it's also pretty dry, nothing like Seattle.  Still, it's great scenery, surrounded by gorgeous wheatfields.

There are, however, a few caveats.  Being a small town, the night-life is iffy at best and the girls are--as confirmed by myspace--nothing to write home about.

Lies. Massachusetts, (parts of) California, and Alaska beat both.

Wait, isn't Port Angeles on the Olympic Penninsula and Walla Wall in Eastern Washington?  Been to the first, not the second.  Went to Washington once and in a month there I never set foot very far east of Puget Sound.

my best advice I can give you... DON'T...EVER..MOVE.. (ok fuck the dramatics)

don't ever move back in with your parents, once you move back and you realize how easy it is to not pay rent, or clean up after yourself, you'll never leave, which will cut into your ability to get laid.

btw, I'm not speaking for experience ,but I've seen a couple of friends do exactly this, and it isn't pretty.
