I think you're just reading too much into some of the wording. Sex is sometimes a subject that is ignored, and I think it's a subject that people do need to talk about instead of going giggly.
Locking this thread is not denying sex exists, but it'd be a step away from openness about the topic, which is a step back towards a society in denial.
I just think you're reading too much into the words of someone who is maybe more passionate about sex discussions than you are.

The sentence "to deny that sex exists actually seems a little immature imo since it clearly happens all the time, every day." seems out of place. If it's meant as a statement in general why is it in the midst of a post that seems to be defending the existence of this thread? That's the reason it caught my attention and the reason why I wished some clarification. I really don't think that Tania means to say that if you think this thread is inappropriate then you are denying sex exists but in context with the rest of the post it reads that way to me.
In retrospect perhaps I should have asked it to her directly via PM. I shall now drop it.

Do you honestly think that locking this thread means a step back towards a society in denial? As much as I like QC and respect what Jeph has done I really don’t think this forum is that powerful.
Should sex be discussed? Certainly. Does that mean it should be discussed everywhere? I don't think so. Should it be discussed here? That's Jeph's call.
