Nodaisho:
Ontario? I think we can safely guess why. Cold. Course, I have never been there, but it is north of some places that I know get hellish cold.

Social Bacon:
35 degrees in the summer is hardly cold, I'm further south than northern California.

Nodaisho:
Don't think you are, from what I can tell, california stops a bit below where Ontario starts. 35 is in Celsius, right? I was confused a second, thinking you were talking about Farenheit. Wow, 95 degrees farenheit, that is almost as hot as it gets here. That is interesting, since I am in Colorado, which is further south than northern California. In the spring or fall, though, I would see why people wouldn't want to be going around topless.

Slick:
I had a nice post written, but my browser crashed, and I seriously hate re-writing posts, especially when I liked them. So instead, you just get this quote again.

P.S. Guys, latitude is not the only thing with an effect on climate. My home is about the same as britain, and it is way colder than those wusses could take.

The very bottom of Ontario goes just below the northern border of California, but I was wrong; living in London I'm one degree of latitude further north than the top of Cali. Remember that maps are inaccurate because they represent the flattening of a sphere.
We get quite the temperature range here, from 30s in the summer to negative 30s in the winter.

That's because Britain is warmed by the gulf stream, which I'm sure you know. But my point was that most people stereotype Canada as being way north and super cold all the time, which it is not, at all.
