A lot of thoughts went through my mind as I read the posts in this thread, but only one survived all the way to the writing of this post.
Just wanna throw this out there for your consideration: in a world full of pretty cool people of all sorts, breast-appearance can be as suitable a dealbreaker as any.
Mai, thanks for pointing out the thing about Italian TV. I think it's really easy for non-Europeans to be blinded by the liberal attitudes towards sex and nudity and the like that are generally prevalent in much of Europe. Actually, it's pretty easy for those of us who live here, too!

Bra shopping is terrifying. I walk past those shops specialising in the selling of the underwears and just freak out. I don't think it helps that the ladies come up to me with a gleam in their eyes and grin while asking enthusiastically "Would you like a fitting!!!?" I normally leave then before they grab my chest. I do like getting pretty bras, but there have been times where I have gotten some and realised once I wore them a few times that they didn't fit me properly at all, and I am embarrassed to go up to the people there and say "I would like a pretty bra that fits my odd boobs nicely please!" because I have odd boobs. I just wander about and refuse any help if I actually force myself to stay in there.
I have gotten some cute underwear from those shops, though. That I can buy most easily.
