I've been thinking about it and I feel like the best thing for this community is for me to occasionally give you all my thoughts on how the forum is going. At this point, I gotta be honest, I have some opinions


But I mean like I always have opinions.


Basically I actually think the board is doing fairly well these days! It is really hard for me to say that, since my first impulse is to immediately call everything shitty, but all of the regulars are posting really well right now, and there are even some decent new kids! That is fucking awesome! Maybe we can make this board the shit, instead of just shit.


However, there are issues.

The only ones I feel like adressing right now are the terrible threads. I understand the point of the pointless thread, but really? I think it's time or us all to just let that one go. 'm sure ther eis something good in it, but it just seems like jerking off onto the internet, you know? Of course, it's still not as bad as the "I saw a dude wearing QC merch" thread, or the fuckin famous people thread. Is there any more self indulgent shit on the whole internet? Outside of live journal of course.


Also we should kill some of these fuckin subforums.

And I agree with pretty much everything you have said. I don't have a huge post count but that's mainly because I only bother posting when I have something witty or constructive to say instead of posting as much as I can and pissing people off.

I CAN NOT stand the amount of shitty list threads being started at the moment like 'guys recommend me some music' or 'top 3 songs you masturbate to hurrr'. They are boring to read and mostly pointless.

Man, I agree about the threads. It seems like most of the threads being made by new guys are all too boring and serious. I don't even feel like reading half of them. You'll rarely see me make topics, 'cause I know that whatever I make is probably going to be ass.

Today I was reading through fossilization and Quiki memorabilia and the threads were epic. Makes me wish I'd signed up earlier.

Sam, I thought you were 16? How could you be graduating?
