Fun Stuff > CHATTER
Hey wow, a blog thread.
SeanBateman:
Today I suffered.
I expect I will do the same tomorrow.
Sigh
morca007:
My day is only half over right now, but so far I've gone to one class, and started to accept a nietzschean perspective of the horror of life.
Next:
I think I shall eat a sandwich.
RobbieOC:
I applied at a library (among other places), but haven't heard back yet. It doesn't really require a degree to stack books does it?
ThePQ4:
--- Quote from: calenlass on 10 Apr 2008, 11:49 ---Right, then, you should tell all the retail fuckers to whom I have submitted applications to hire me already.
--- End quote ---
I never said it was EASY to get retail jobs.
Robbie: No, you don't need a degree to stack books, haha. But that is usually a more volunteer capacity (at least at my local libraries). The only thing you really need a degree for, I think, is to be a director or someone who is going to be "doing the books" so to speak --budgeting, buying, salaries...you know, managerial librarianism. --My Aunt is going through all of that right now, you'd think I would be more informed? Alas, I am not.
RobbieOC:
Well, I guess that kind of makes sense.
And dang, the lightbulb in my closet just went out.
