I was also like a year old when that happened. Apparently my dad just turned around and said 'isn't this fun?' to me and I then concluded that it was some sort of game.

That reminds me, I heard some story about a building that will be the newest tallest building trying to get built in San Fransisco.

That's actually a lot smaller than you might think. The skyline in San Francisco is not very large, pretty much precisely for that reason. Also, there's very strict building codes that new construction has to meet. People in other parts of the country freak out a lot about earthquakes, I find, but really when you're prepared for it like we are there's only one every decade or so that does significant damage.
