That trailer looked REALLY, REALLY bad.  Mind you it was 40 seconds long and just featured two characters....  But still...it might be fun, but I'll wait for later trailers and actual gameplay footage before I give an actual opinion.

Unless I can totally rip out Superman's heart and impale him on a bed of spikes.

I think it's worth noting that there will be much less blood and no fatalities in this game.

If I gave a shit about fighting games I would probably care more, but instead I just am really confused as to how the hell this ended up happening.

Yeah, Mortal Kombat without fatalities is like Street Fighter without combos, Half Life without a crowbar, Sonic without any speed at all, Earthbound without any zany humor, and Final Fantasy without angsty bishies.
