Actually,I wasn't being serious about the whole DiOY,Y? comment but I was about selling out. I think the fact that in all seriousness accused them of selling out makes you guilty of douchebaggery.

I think Oerdin's "sell-outs" comment was probably meant to be read in inverted commas, as in, he was saying that now all the indie kids will call them sell-outs, not that he thinks they're sell-outs. But the way the post was written did leave it open to interpretation.

The only example I can really site is that they played a show in Dekalb, IL not to long ago. The show promoter has a graphic designer design posters for his shows and then allows him to sell the extra posters at the shows. Crystal Castles refused to let him sell his posters at the show even though he had designed a pretty bad ass poster gone to the troubled of screening them and then putting them up all over town to promote their date.
