The only example I can really site is that they played a show in Dekalb, IL not to long ago. The show promoter has a graphic designer design posters for his shows and then allows him to sell the extra posters at the shows. Crystal Castles refused to let him sell his posters at the show even though he had designed a pretty bad ass poster gone to the troubled of screening them and then putting them up all over town to promote their date.

Touche.
I like some crystal castles, that kinda rubbed me the wrong way. Also, it couldn't have been to much money related because they had a solid guarantee plus a decent percentage of back end.

I went and watched them tonight at the Casbah in San Diego. It was a great show. Plus it looks like next time they do a North American tour they'll be with Nine Inch Nails. It seems they're going gang busters.
