I really want to encourage everyone to post their thoughts, opinions, reviews, blogposts, whatever. Anything that has to do with Wise Owl or our artists, positive or negative, please let us know. Tom:
EDIT: (FOR CIVILITY)
Could you please refrain from using the boards for blatantly promotional purposes. After further looking into your record label, I can see that your purpose is exposure rather than promotion.

tommydski:
This is actually a decent little record label. Wouldn't it be nice if we could not be overly hostile towards someone who is investing a lot of their time and efforts into putting out good music?

Ignore it if it bothers you that much.

IronOxide:
I have to disagree with you there, Tommy. No matter if he is making good stuff or if he iis making shit to which nobody would ever listen, he's not really trying to discuss anything, rather he is trying to advertise for free. He is not encouraging discussion, or offering any kind of insight that is not available in any other kind of promotional material.

I think I would even be okay if he even pretended to want to create discussion, but he wants to get more hits, which makes it spam, IMO. Ulterior motives to discussion are all fine and good, but if there's no possible discussion, it's spam.

EDIT: I fully realize the hypocrisy of bumping a thread that I think is spam, but I think that the spam vs. not spam discussion is generally prominent enough that it warrants discussion.

tommydski:
I understand the unwritten rule regarding promotion, I just think the chap above my original post (pre-edit) came across as needlessly hostile.
