Coachella (Indio) Tickets
« on: 21 Apr 2008, 23:22 »

Anyone want to buy them from me? I have two for Friday, two for Saturday, and two for Sunday, General admission. Sunday and Friday ones I will sell for $70, free shipping.

Saturday ones, however, are $330, free express shipping. I am putting them on ebay in the morning if I don't get a reply. PM me for more details, or pics in the morning.

I'd would buy them if I didn't already have tickets.  BTW if anyone will be there on Sunday the 27th then my friend's band will be playing on the second stage.  "Does It Offend You, Yeah?" is a pretty cool English band which describes their music as "you take a pinch of french electro, add a bit of 90s grunge, add a trist of techno and season with oodles of indie".  They're currently on a tour of the US and Canada, they just played the NME awards in Hollywood, will be playing Coachella this weekend, and will be at San Diego's Casbah this weds.  Their tour schedule is on their myspace page along with a couple of their songs:

Their main band page:

A write up Rolling Stone Magazine did on them:

And of course their Pitchfork review:

Why is the tickets for Saturday are extremely high?  The tickets for the other two days are reasonable. I'm not going to buy them, I was just wondering why the price difference.

Also I would like to point out that the combination of Sailor Moon and faux-Kerouac / Sonic Youth spelling is perhaps the purest distillation of what this forum is that we have yet been presented with.

i was just trying to illustrate how silly it is to call someone a street teamer who obviously isn't one. sorry for the confusion.

If you had basic literacy skills you'd know I posted that before I started a thread.  Please pay attention and learn to read.

I'd buy them in a heartbeat if I lived anywhere near California, or had any way to get there. Alas...
