I WANT TO BE THE VERY BEST
Lines:
What. If you can't handle it, get out. We are happy with our obsessions, thank you.
And hey, uh, Ozy? Are they hiring any people where you work? Or can I borrow your parents? Will they buy me a new Nintendo? Please?
RedLion:
Nah, I think I actually still have my box of pokemon cards. I'd be intrigued to see how much they're worth. Probably absolutely nothing, contrary to what people were saying back in the day ("some day my holographic Blastoise will be worth so much money!")
Ozymandias:
You guys do realize I got all of those over the course of 18 years, right?
Game Boy -> Christmas present, 1990
Game Boy Color -> Birthday present, 2000
Game Boy Advance -> My own money, 2001
Game Boy Advance SP -> My own money, 2003
Game Gear -> My own money ($5), 2004
DS -> Birthday present, 2005
Nomad -> Present from friend, 2005
DS Lite & Game Boy Micro -> Christmas presents, 2007
I mean, maybe I am just silly with my money, but video games are one of my few real passions in life and I can't say I would've preferred to get anything else or spend my money on anything else on any of those occasions.
jhocking:
Where jon comes from, the cost of a Gameboy could feed his entire family for a year.
Darkbluerabbit:
When I was younger I had a Pikachu pillow that was approximately "life" sized. I thought it was cute and comfy to nap upon.
Then I got older and I had to hide Pikachu from my friends with questionable senses of humor.
Let's just say I can not look at Pikachu the same way ever again.
