When I was little, I walked upwind, uphill, through the snow, in the cold northern taiga, to and from school. For real.

(We went to a babysitter after school and she was on the other side of the school. It was only like ten-fifteen minutes each way)

I walk uphill both ways. I really do. But that's because my campus covers the hilliest block ever. And there was snow and ice at one point, but I'm pretty sure any Canadian will beat us on that. One of the Canuk grads called us pansies when we said 20 degrees was cold.
