There's a slight flaw in the whole set-up, though. Your rule that the music must be something you've never heard of before and the implication that you should enjoy the mix are contradictory, considering your vast knowledge of music and rather cemented tastes.

Gene, there's taste, and then there is standards. There's an entire spectrum of music that's insanely popular right that he's rather unaware of. Fortunately, it happens to be mostly music that most people here seem to enjoy rather a lot.
