Political survey, how fun! (homework help plz)

(1/7) > >>

Smurgleburf:
I'm doing an election project in government class, and one of the mandatory requirements is surveying people to know a wide variety of voter types and whatnot. Preferably, it'd be better if you were old enough to vote, and also an American citizen

So just take a bit of time to answer the questions. Not all questions are yes or no ones, but try to explain your answers without writing an essay, please. I don't want to start a flame war or anything, and I hope this is the place for the survey.

I'd also really appreciate it if you copy and pasted the questions and wrote your answers below each question or something.

Here we go:

Name, first and last
Age
State

1. Did you vote in the last election?
2. Are you going to vote in November?
3. What candidate are you going to vote for, and why?
4. What party do you belong to, and why?
5. What is your stance on illegal immigration?
6. What do you think the next president can do to improve the economy?
7. Do you believe it is beneficial to vote? Why or why not?
8. What is the electoral college, and should it be retained or abolished? Why or why not?
9. How do you decide whom to vote for?
10. Do you believe campaign spending undermines the honesty of a campaign? Why or why not?
11. Should campaign advertising be regulated, and if so, how? Why or why not?
12. Should the government try to give people more incentive to vote? If so, how?
13. Is voter ignorance harming the process of democracy?

öde:
Who are you?

Smurgleburf:
A very mysterious person that lurks in the shadows, apparently.

Dear QC,

Do my homework.

Sincerely,
Person No One Has Ever Heard of Who Gives Us No Good Reason to Help Them In Response to Their Spam While Completely Disregarding the Rather Clearly Stated 'No Politics' Rule of the Forum

Seriously, you've clearly been lurking by your registration date. Conversely, you clearly haven't been doing enough of it.

öde:
Name, first and last
Daniel Fakelastname (no, seriously)

Age
18

State
United Kingdom

1. Did you vote in the last election?
No - underage and in a different country.

2. Are you going to vote in November?
No - in a different country.

3. What candidate are you going to vote for, and why?
No - in a different country.

4. What party do you belong to, and why?
No - in a different country.

5. What is your stance on illegal immigration?
Love it (one of my best friends is an illegal immigrant and I don't think borders or nations are rad anyway).

6. What do you think the next president can do to improve the economy?
Start another war (seriously).

7. Do you believe it is beneficial to vote? Why or why not?
For every well-informed, rational vote there are a thousand uninformed, irrational votes.

8. What is the electoral college, and should it be retained or abolished? Why or why not?
No idea!

9. How do you decide whom to vote for?
I decide who would best meet my own needs by being voted into power, that's what politics is for.

10. Do you believe campaign spending undermines the honesty of a campaign? Why or why not?
That sounds pretty uncapitalistic to me!

11. Should campaign advertising be regulated, and if so, how? Why or why not?
Nah, less fun that way.

12. Should the government try to give people more incentive to vote? If so, how?
They should try and get them into politics, or get them to get rid of politics.

13. Is voter ignorance harming the process of democracy?
Ignorance is bliss!
