You should really watch the Whole movie before deciding it sucks.. Nekromantik is easily one of my favorite movies... kinda hard to find in your neighborhood video store ...

Man, I just read the plot summary. I'm not sure I could watch this, it sounds too much like my own life.
I have seen August Underground though. One of my friends decided it would the perfect light entertainment for us in the middle of an Evangelion marathon. He was so wrong.

Actually I can sit here and tell you that it's not disturbing.. really? disturbing? I guess to Some people.. I've been making horror movie props for a long time, and gore effects and I'm just jaded to all that stuff now. But yeah.. the plot of the movie and hearing about the movie before you watch the whole thing make it seem better but it doesn't live up to it's name, but it is one of my favorites.

As soon as you understand how everything is done the magic is really gone. When a kid finds out that Godzilla is only a dude in a suit Godzilla just isn't cool anymore. The fact that you make movie props is super-cool, my cousin used to do the same thing, but not for horror movies.

That is harsh man, I've seen Evangelion 4 times now and it still has the same effect on me every time. The thought of watching August Underground AND Evangelion in the same run is giving me an ulcer.
