JimmyJazz:
That festival seems...interesting.

Saw the Mountain Goats on Friday and it was incredible. John Darnielle's solo acoustic set in the middle of show blew my mind and they covered "Plain" by Silkworm, Silkworm

StaedlerMars:
That's awesome.

Lupercal, you need to start looking at non-UK festivals. Primavera, if you buy tickets early enough, is only 130 euros (well this year anyway, price has definitely gone up from last year), and has a kick ass lineup. It's also in the middle of Barcelona, so... bonus.

Electric Picnic in Ireland is usually also pretty good, but really expensive. There's a lot of festivals cropping up in the Balkans that get quite electronic. Poland has some really good things going on.

Catacombs:
I'm going to see LCD Soundsystem tomorrow night with my little sister in the first of their funeral week shows.  Don't really know what to expect, except that it should be lots of fun.  Also, I seem to be one of the only people ever that actually likes Terminal 5 in NYC.

I tried to buy tickets to see Death Cab at the Bowery in June but 20 seconds after the tickets went on sale they were sold out.  I didn't really care that much since I'm not a huge fan but it would have been a good time since a group of my friends were going to go (which never happens) AND it would have been on the 21st birthday of one of my friends.  Oh well.

Radical AC:
Okkervil River and Titus Andronicus sold out...

Then my girlfriend surprised me with tickets.  KEEPER

StaedlerMars:
Awww yeah PS I Love You are playing here on May 8th with a local glitch snooze pop band miaoux miaoux and people, places, maps (who i don't know). Excited!
