Yoeni:
Going to Roadburn next year :D, here's the line-up so far

Saint Vitus are doing a reunion, Orange Goblin is going to record a live CD, Neurosis is currating the Saturday and are personally inviting 15 bands (7 have yet to be confirmed), there'll be a small venue across the street called the V36 with a special horror electronics / dark ambient night, and on an other day Seven That Spells (awesome Croatian freakrock) are going to play a brain-melting 2 hour set. All this for just 1750 people... It's just going to be awesome.
e: It was also sold out in 45 minutes lol

I just think asdfjhkljfgah;gk's material doesn't transfer well to a live show
glyphic:
Well honestly, it's kind of hard to take that disjointed sort of cacophony and pull it off live. Arnold Boisner (gramophone operator) does a pretty good job, but Palmer Reeves (shoebox telephone) can't really keep up, it seems.
KickThatBathProf:
I agree completely. When I saw them live, Reeves switched to the sarrusophone part on "poiu32?v" and just missed the beat entirely. It was awful. Samson Ingrid (Lead glockenspiel) just kind of did his own thing and it was clear that the entire 11-man ensemble was pretty disjunct the whole show
imapiratearg:
So, uh. Akron/Family are playing near me tomorrow. Has anyone seen them live? I love their self-titled album, and I would really like to see them.
