I was mostly just hasslin' you, Beast, but there are inexpensive and decent effect pedals. Danelectro, for example, makes some pretty solid pedals for cheap. Their overdrive pedal is apparently legendary. At least, the vintage ones are, but they have reissues out.
If you're absolutely adamant on getting a multi-effect pedal, you could always check out say...Boss or Line 6. The latter's POD multi-effects line is apparently pretty cool.
Thank you, I appreciate your help.
The Danelectro pedals are only $19, but most multi-effects include those effects. And of course you can preset them to the multi-effects pedal so it's basically the same.
The Boss pedals look cool, but they aren't listing the effects.
As for the Line 6 pedals, which is the best? I'm browsing them right now and the PODŽ xt Pro seems best for effects. I think these Line 6 products are more for recording than just playing. I'm looking for a pedal with hundreds of "high-quality" effects, a few customization options, and obviously effect preset options.
Well, on the whole, which pedal do you consider to be the best? You seem to know what you're talking about.

This looks pretty nice.
