I guess I don't get the first Calvin and Hobbes one. Calvin is Dad and the little girl is Calvin and Susie's daughter? Or the girl is Susie and her Dad just happens to look something like an adult Calvin. Either way, where were they today?

The dude is Calvin and the girl is his daughter. The little tear indicates that he is happy that his daughter is having fun with Hobbes, and possibly misses those days.

They will buy merch from any band so long as they get to feel like they are actually supporting something worthwhile. Plus they keep metalheads away from an event just by showing up, and I hate metalheads.
