ah, personally i think it's kind of weird too but that's why i stay out of the photo thread.
as long as nobody is uncomfortable or creeped out by occasional compliments it seems pretty harmless to me.

That makes me sad that people think that giving someone a compliment is weird. I mean, if you liked someone's art, music, clothes, etc you'd tell them.
