I love that dress! You definitely need some pretty solid bling with it to pull it off for prom. Large fake silver and clear gems would do lovely. Think Audrey Hepburn ala Breakfast at Tiffany's.

@ Drill King: You at least need a necklace. I'd suggest something not too large, since I don't think you need to pull any more attention to the cleavage area. Probably something that goes about halfway down the exposed chest area.

Drill King - Fantastic dress. Really, amazing. You need pearls to go with it correctly. Tyler was right about the whole Hepburn thing but I'd suggest a single loop of pearls, probably quite high on the neck rather than drooping too low, and a simple pair of pearl studs. If you have a simple, delicate, silver wristwatch then that'd make for a good accessory.

Ehh, I would skip out on the pearls and go for some plain simple jewelry.

I agree with St.Germain on this one - simple is the best and you do not want anything that is too big because the dress is already low cut. If you go for anything sparkly, keep the stones clear in colour and stick to silver accessories. If you are wearing long gloves, I'd put the focus on a simple necklace, with maybe a bit of sparkle, and depending on how you are wearing your hair, simple earrings.

Also, have you picked what shoes to wear with it?

Man thank you guys for all the suggestions! I am kind of starting to like the idea of pearls, I'm not really a 'jewel' or 'sparkle' kind of person, but it all depends.

Also thank yoouuu I was so happy to find it, it's so perfect and what I was looking for, no fuss no muss prom '09 ch'yeah.

Jmrz, I don't have shoes or anything right now, it's really just the dress. Also, for hair I am thinking really elegant up, perhaps not audrey hephburn style but similar; having a talented hairstylist mother essentially means I can have really fun weird stuff.

Too soon to actually deliver judgment, since the photo conceals your actual physical stature, and the face you're pulling could be disguising your actual appearance, but as far as I can tell at this point you have a very pretty face.

Plus, props on the nose ring instead of the stud. Studs always just look like warts to me.

Well it is legal but I doubt the cop would have appreciated me using his car for that purpose. And yes I know I was being the typical obnoxious American tourist but you know what don't care. BABY.

I saw a baby today who was two days old and tied to her mother's stomach as her mother shopped. In a supermarket. On December 23rd. That is one brave lady. It was the newest baby I'd ever seen (she was born TWO DAYS AGO) and she was being taken into the busiest shop in town on the busiest day in the store's history. The woman was so blase about it and I managed not to stare longingly at the baby for too long.

Damn I wish I had a tiny baby who I could carry around on my stomach and expose to extreme cold and large, dangerous crowds.
