Sorry that I don't get jokes!
The problem is that I am quite aware of the general awkwardness, creepiness and pursuing er, ness? and am trying to figure out how to curtail it somewhat. It is a vexing conundrum. On the one hand when people who know each other compliment/flirt or joke around and such it's cool and amusing. But then we get an influx of stupid noobs who don't know that the people in question know each other, completely ignore the large post counts of the people involved (a good indicator that they are regulars and as such probably familiar with one another), ignore all rules laid out for these types of threads and they just start 'tarding away merrily thinking that the way that they've seen two friends talking to one another is a good way to talk to complete strangers.
So yeah. I'm vexed.
