yay, photography! (thumbnails or links only, pls.)
elcapitan:
I get paid to make coffee. It's fun. And then I get to take photos of it.
(It's a link, click it for decent quality.)
Also, Allybee, you have got some gorgeous contrast in some of those shots. I like it.
Metope:
Can... can I have that coffee, please?
Allybee:
if anyone is curious, only 2, 3, 5 and 7 went into the portfolio.
thanks elcap! what've you been up to lately, photography-wise? haven't seen any of your stuff for ages, but that coffee looks wonderful, so well-lit. shooting digital?
speaking of digital, I'm looking into buying a used dslr (not really something I can afford right now, but whatever, who needs a car?). I think I'm ready to go into color photography. it's funny, because a lot of people think that making a picture black and white automatically makes it look "arty" and improves the shot. you really have to pay attention to composition and tones when shooting black and white, which is why a lot of photography programs make you start with it. but I am craving color, though, and color film + processing fees are going to stack up, so while I love being in the darkroom, looks like I might be headed towards digital. I've heard good things about nikon (I'm lucky enough to own a canon slr) but I'm also looking at pentax and maybe olympus.
Scandanavian War Machine:
i'm glad you're back, Ally!
i always liked your photos because they make mine look like crap, and that happens to be exactly what i look for in a good photo.
The Cheesinator:
Sunny skies struck Toronto a few weeks back. Managed to capture Autumn while it lasted.
Also, I do not know how to make it into a thumbnail. Sorry. My Imageshack sucks and I've moved on to Flickr.
