Man, I'd really love to play some Pink Floyd. Problem is a lot of their songs have killer solos in them, but also have guitar-less passages full of nothing but synth and such. Which is something that kind of bugs me--I wish they would bring out a keyboard instrument. I know, it sounds lame. But so many of these songs, and so many of the songs in the 1st Rock Band have major keyboard parts in them.

Harmonix considered it but they're not too keen on the idea at this time. Besides, as you can tell by the Nine Inch Nails DLC, songs with sparse guitar parts can have their synth/piano parts thrown on the guitar player, though most didn't really like that feature and the guitar parts were still pretty light.
Jackie Blue:
The obvious solution is to release a Keytar peripheral.

You are quite silly.
BEHOLD: (though it is way too expensive, it is just so damn beautiful.)
300 dollar deluxe Rock Band drum set.
RedLion:
Can't that also become a standard electronic drum kit if you remove the game pad?
s42:
Looks like it, it's manufactured by Alesis.
