I think Will's gonna be another one of those characters I find really annoying [no offense Jeph, i love the comic :)]. Honestly just ask the girl out! I mean i consider myself a poetic type as well and I write ALOT of poetry. I currently even write poetry to the girl I'm dating and she loves it. however not EVERYTHING has to take place in "magical shakespeare poetry land" and I actually think girls would probably find this insanely annoying.

Wil is a foil for Sven. Sven finds romance and talking to women he likes easy and natural. Wil regards women as some sort of fantasy creature that is unattainable and unknowable. Screwed up? Yeah. Accurate to how some men act around women? Definitely.
