- boca grande - $5 burrito that will make you angry every time you see a chipotle. (coolidge corner, porter square)

- stephanie's on newbury - if "sophisticated comfort food" sounds good to you (get the wasabi tuna salad, or the pork chop)

- darwin's - mt. auburn st. cambridge - awesomely fancy sandwiches.

- bukowski's (inman sq) 100+ beers on tap. make sure you spin the wheel to choose your beer.

- see a show at TT the Bears (the harder rocking, little brother of The Middle East).
