No, we're pretty close. It's just the kids that were born, like... after the Soviet Union broke up. The ones that honestly don't remember life without the web, or TV without The Simpsons. They make me feel like I should be collecting Social Security already.

--- Quote from: Thlayli on 29 Jul 2008, 21:22 ---This thread makes me feel depressingly old. I was born before the World Wide Web was invented, but after the internet. I remember having a TV that was only capable of accessing 13 channels, because that's all there was. There were no channel up/down buttons... just a row of buttons labeled 1-13, sort of like on an 8-track. And faux-wood paneling on the sides.

I had one of those dials that would always fall off, so you'd have to use a pair of plyers to turn it. And then you had to position the rabbit ears just so.

I'm only 24. That's not so old, I didn't think

I had one of those. it had like three dials on it, and maybe buttons for volume. Two were the picture and one was for channels. An you need an RF to hook things up to it.

RobbieOC:
Exactly! And, of couse it was just barely color, and had the awesome wood accenting on it. I loved it, despite how much I used to complain about it.

RedLion:
Hey, the Soviet Union still existed when I was born.

Hell, The Berlin Wall still existed when I was born.

yelley:
man, are we doing this again?

24.
