Nice Pete stood tall, his muscular form outlined by the faint light from the cellar window. His bare chest moved up and down with each strong breath and his gaze fell straight ahead, staring into the distance. His breathing calmed, slower, slower, and slower, until suddenly he crouched down, stooping next to a wooden bowl and his torn vest. His attention back to the task at hand, Tommy's momentary respite over, he gathered the vest in his hand and began soaking it with warm water from the bowl. Carefully Nice Pete ran the cloth over Tommy's body, squeezing it every so often to let the water wash over him and mix with the blood that oozed down the drain. Slowly and methodically he washed Tommy, sodden vest moving between the bowl and the body, until the fresh wounds were clean and the bowl empty. "Now you are the woman," Nice Pete whispered, "and you will scream when I let you."
