What does qwerty mean to you?

<< < (7/7)

est:
Ah, thanks for that Paul.  That would probably why I never get the bloody reference despite having read and re-read all five of the books.

Adlan:

--- Quote from: pwhodges on 13 Aug 2008, 13:29 ---In the books, the "Belgium" reference is only in the American printings - the UK text has "Fuck" at that point.  Actually, "Belgium" is better!

--- End quote ---

However, in the Original Version (the Radio Series) Belgium is Used, by Zaphod Beeblebrox as he is hanging out of a giant icy cave 10 miles above ground level.

The Radio Series is much better. Much Much Better, and Douglas Adams was much Happier as a Radio Writer than as a Novellist.

Qwerty to me just brings to mind a dilbert cartoon, where wally has been sleeping on his keyboard, and explains away the marks to the PHB with 'Qwertyitus'

Mad Cat:
You're all wrong. Qwerty is a robot adjective that describes a person who's willing to take an electro-static discharge device, such as a stungun, to a machine's power intake port, thus blowing out its power supply and rendering it incapable of recharging its batteries if it has a battery pack, or quite firmly dead if it doesn't, and its power supply is not redundant.

Essentially, Hanners just informed the digital duo that she's entirely willing to murder them in their sleep cycle and she doesn't even know it.

Common usage is as in, "Guard your power port around Hanners. She's one qwerty chick."

Zingoleb:
I'm shocked that all of you would use the word 'Belgium' so...loosely!

And I typed in qwerty on limewire.  :-o lolita we have found you.
