okay this is going to sound really dumb and petty in light of this overwhelming story, so i apologize in advance. but... why did her adopted parents stick their son with the washing machine? couldn't he share a room with dani? i mean, i was more upset about what happened to her than to him, obviously. but he's all 'yeah i take a walkie talkie with me because it's scary down there'. sad!
