Oh, wow yes. I've never seen a man wearing a shirt like that first one outside the Castro district in San Francisco. The second one is what most Americans would identify as a tank top.

I actually really like those glasses, and if I hadn't literally just bought a new pair last week I would consider getting some of these and then having lenses fitted.

I would extend your point to sleeveless shirts myself. I own one sleeveless shirt that I wear to go to the gym or during manual labor like moving, but if I wear it any other times I feel really self conscious.
