Let's have a fashion advice thread.

Aimless:
This post has to do with the price of jeans, and of clothes in general.

I just thought about what I currently have in my wardrobe, and came to a startling conclusion: the contents of my wardrobe is technically worth more than anything else in my possession. This was startling because, once upon a time, I didn't have any interest in clothes. Almost my entire wardrobe consisted of gifts or really boring and mostly cheap things I'd bought just to have something to cover my body with. And now, I have a wardrobe characterised (mostly) by colour and life and diversity--something nice and comfy for every imaginable occasion.

What was even more startling was the realisation that every single one of my jeans are worth 100+ USD, where once they'd have been closer to 20 bucks a piece (and chinos).

Thing is, I've bought almost everything in my wardrobe on sales--mostly two-for-one deals or at 70+% discount!

In my opinion, any man who wants to dress well--but doesn't care as much about being trendy--needs to get into the habit of shopping around and hitting sales hard. And often!

Expensive jeans do tend to both look better and last longer, but it's crazy to buy them at full price when you can just as easily get them at a heavy discount. And who's gonna sneer at you for wearing jeans you bought on a sale? Jeans last for years, no-one will know and no-one will care! Unless you've just bought bright-red jeans, of course.

This may all have already been said somewhere in the thread, but I didn't want to be the guy that reads through six pages of fashion talk :(

PS. Est, are you Cliff Simon?

Drill King:
Later on today I will take pictures in some of my most ridiculous clothes that are rad.

Leinad:
Why is that even a question in your mind? Yes!

Drill King:

Not good pictures of this, but let me assure you this is the best dress eveer. Agree?

Aimless:
It reminds me of avocadoes, which is great, but what would you wear it to??!

EDIT: I vaguely recall a pic of a dress you made from an oversized t-shirt and buttons. Now that's a sweet idea I think :)
