When I was 15 years old I wore a thrifted old man suit, a tie and had a backpack that was a stuffed elephant and my parents didn't say shit.

Hell, I'm 22 and my mom still nags when I wear stuff she doesn't like around her. I don't think she'd confiscate my clothes, though, but I'm sure she's wanted to. Multiple times.

Guys, maybe we don't all remember this, but it was established shortly after he got here that MU had some pretty strict folks. Wasn't his first thread about trying to find ways to listen to music without getting in trouble?
When I was a teenager, I wore a ratty 3-cornered hat to school every day. My mom hated it and told me so repeatedly, but she never confiscated it.
