Fun Stuff > CHATTER
Let's have a fashion advice thread.
Gemmwah:
I think being comfortable in clothes is more about being confident in them, I can be just as comfortable in a corset, skirt and heels as I am in a pair of jeans, t-shirt and chucks.
Social Bacon:
I think being comfortable in clothes is about being a suit. Nothing can top how comfortable a suit is.

I think I am a stylish dude but alas, I am differently rich.
Basically if I had the money to buy a bunch I would wear tailored suits all the time.

This is such a good post. A+ would read again.
Robbie- Yay sweater vests! I am a big fan of them when worn right.
Ali and Emilio- My mockery of the dudes on this forum was more to try and get them to start posting. I want to see more fashion choices here!
Normz- I love shoes. I really do. I enjoy odd shoes on occasion as well, but those are just going a little too far. I would also like to see the navy pair for comparison, but I doubt I could ever justify spending $1000 on them.
Also, everyone- I looove The Sartorialist. That is probably how I would dress if I had a large quantity of disposable income.
McTaggart:
All my outfits are really damage control because I have few clothes and a lot of them are really kinda eh. I put a bit of effort into trying to get them to work together because clothes shopping is pretty much my least favourite thing and buying new clothes scares me. I think I do pretty well with what I have.

However, there is no way in hell I could pull that look off, and I think it's kind of limiting wearing black all the time.

I don't really find it that limiting because I try to mix different shades. I'm going to get blonde streaks in my hair at some point and I want to experiment with only wearing black and white. I don't find it limiting but maybe that's because I don't have any desire to dress any differently.
