Let's have a fashion advice thread.

I just don't do bright colors, or, to be more accurate, if I had the money to get my ideal wardrobe, I wouldn't wear bright colors, as it is, I have a bunch of shirts I got for free that are brighter than I would like. I wouldn't do the all black wardrobe, but you can get dull greens and browns and blues, maybe reds, all of which go together decently (well, maybe not red and green, unless you are Freddy), and have some variety. Monochrome can be very striking, though.
The sartorialist has some odd fashion choices on there, but it also has good ones, it just seems to be more tilted towards businessy looks. Some of those, I would like wearing if I were going to a formal occasion, but not normally.

I won't go so far as wearing only black, but the vast majority of what I wear is either black/a dark shade of whatever color or white. It makes everything easier in terms of picking something that doesn't clash, and I need all the help I can get there. I don't have very good fashion sense to begin with and I'm partially colorblind.

Eh, the problem i have with only-black wardrobes, is that well, its so mono-tone!
Also, normz, if you do end up getting those shoes you are daydreaming about, i totally demand pikturs!

This one is just grey, and kind of boring, I guess, but I still really like it, because it is very versatile.
This one is just red, so it is a little less boring than the grey one, and works well with lots of shirts I have.
This is my favorite one. I like the colors and the pattern, and it goes well with outfits like:
this. Which is the kind of thing I would wear alot in the colder months.
So, yeah. Sweater vests.
