As much as I LOVE the androgynous v. curvy debate and all the brash generalizations that come with it, I think you guys should talk about shoes:

Yeah those shoes are great. The rolled up jeans are a nice touch as well.

This is one of the dresses I want off of that site, too.

Also, because I can wear high necked things, I don't really understand the circus tent thing. What causes it?

Yo, how has only one person notices this?! BIG UPS. I want those, where did you get your hands on those beauties?

Also, I am not impressed with people hating on my old school beat to shit black and white checkered Vans slip-ons. I've been wearing them for the past 7 years and I'd appareciate not being hated on for it. No, I am not a skateboarder, yes, I like punk rock, no I do not think Pete Wentz is cool, yes they are hells of comfortable.

I'm extremely curvy (For this don't read BIG, I mean I have big boobs and hips and a small waist, old fashioned hourglass) I like wearing boys clothes, (cowboy shirts etc.)but I get them re-tailored to fit. I get almost all my clothes re-tailored (Or do it myself, depending on how hard the alterations are.)

I would like to add, I've been wearing vans slip ons since the 80's, I have slip on love, which is both dirty and sexy. (My shoes are dirty & they look sexy)

and I have also climbed both trees and buildings in a 50's prom dress, corset and full skirt, the whole shebang.

I like being comfortable, but sometimes it's worth suffering to look awesome.

Man, when I saw the things you posted I went "oh daaang my friend would have loved those clothes" and then I realized I hadn't seen actual pictures of you, and she reads webcomics occasionally, so I went to your profile and you are eighteen years old and from Norway and my friend is both eighteen and from Norway so for a second I thought you was her but then I saw a picture of you and you weren't her and now I'm all sad.

Aw, I'm sorry for not being your friend! Clearly she must have excellent taste though. 8D

When you are older and happen to be a science or history teacher, THEN you can wear a bowtie. Those are the only people who I thought looked pretty okay while wearing bowties.

Actually wait, not that bowtie. Make it a black one, with a fitted vest or blazer. And maybe style the hair.

You can wear that bowtie only ironically. Maybe add some oldman glasses. This is riskier, but can end up giving you style bonuspoints. I'm thinking like this guy from Ra Ra Riot.

That tie is an irony tie and was, indeed, not styled. I style it sometimes. It also needed washing in those pictures. But anyway.
I'm taking this as a yes to bowties.

Bowties are a transparent affectation. Not really recommend for anyone unless they fashion is already so out there that it wouldnt make a splash.

Bowties can look great and stylish and stand out... but I've never seen them do so outside of formal wear.

That is the only way to wear a bow tie.

Question: Bowties. One word, or two?

edit: I am also going to pointedly ignore some of my old dance pictures, wherein my date wore a bright teal dress, and I wore a tuxedo with a matching cummerbund and bow tie. I'd like to think I can learn from some of my mistakes.

You should only really wear a bow tie when you have to - during formal occasions. And it should most definitely not be light green with a pattern over a blue shirt.

Unless you are going full formal for an occasion, adding a tie or bow tie or any of that just makes you look like you are trying to do Avril Lavigne troopunx or like you don't know how to dress yourself.

Completely unrelated to bowties, here is my beloved Doc Marten. I'm wearing them both, but you can only see the one.

And that is the QC forum on my computer on the desk.

In other news, I'm very proud of myself for figuring out the resizing code from memory. I am not a computer person.
