Maybe a "Signs" ending?
tuna ketchup x:
Who says there has to BE an ending? Jeph makes his living off this, I don't think he wants the gravy train to stop anytime soon.
But I'd also be fine with a spin-off, maybe a "five years in the future" thing where Dora runs a chain of CoD, the band's made it big, and the comic follows a group of baby hipsters working at a CoD franchise. Either that, or QC Babies (a la Muppet Babies).... first idea's better.
Tybalt:
No please to the QC babies. ..whoops, that wasn't supposed to rhyme.
And yeah, there doesn't have to be an ending. It's like real life, it never ends. Yeah, that does mean that there won't be a good climax, but who cares?
Thorbard:
I guess what I'd like to see is QC draw to a gradual close, with the characters getting their own conclusions and happy endings. The comic drops down to a 2 days a week update while in the other 3 days Jeph draws something new and exciting that we'll all love even more.
Better than it ending when Jeph dies, a half drawn QC strip number 10,354 on his hospital bedsheets.
Zingoleb:
How does it end? YOU decide! Also, if you lick your screen, it'll taste like cherry.
Now go wash off your screen, dummkopf.

OK, guys, we already know how the comic's gonna end, if/when:
"EVERYONE GETS HIT BY A TRUCK."
--- End quote ---
I would actually love that. If done right, of course. I would guess Jeph would spend two months tying everything up, resolving all the characters' issues with each other, giving everyone their happy ending, and just when they all get together in the last comic...
