Are your favourite bands defunct?/alternative recommendation thread

Not many of my favourite bands are defunct. Pavement, Pulp and Hefner are the main three, but also The Auteurs and Kenickie and Black Box Recorder and Dogs Die In Hot Cars and I guess Elliott Smith is "defunct", which sucks.

"Latter Days" by Zeppelin has "No Quarter" and "Kashmir" on it, and "Trampled Underfoot" which is my favourite on that disc.
