Skateboarding?

I have friends who longboard that try and get me to longboard. It is hells of fun, but boards are expensive. I really don't wanna spend 150 bucks right now.

My neighborhood has crappy old sidewalks, you would be lucky to get twenty feet without hitting a ridge more than half the size of your wheel. I just bike.

That is an intensely long, longboard.  Its like 2 feet longer than my normal (42-46") board.

A longboard with chunky wheels would be cool (aren't they called mountain boards or something?).
