Skateboarding?

I owned a skateboard at one time when I was younger.  Fell off a lot.

I also made a skit on the general subject of skateboarding when I was in college.

I had a mountain board, I never used it. Fun, though. Especially liked the hand-brake.

I got a skateboard when I was in middle school or something, but I failed at it because I am afraid of almost everything. I dunno where it is now. Probably in a storage unit.

I prefer snowboarding, mostly because my feet stay on the board that gives me some illusion of control that allows me to go on blacks and shit. But if I ever find someplace that's perfect for learning how to skateboard (including a lack of people so that I don't embarrass myself) then I'll give skateboarding another shot. So I guess I should find my skateboard and take it with me.

For now, though, I'll just stick with learning how to use my new heelys. That is a challenge in itself.

I was thinking of starting skateboarding again when I go to Uni, because there is an excellent skate park in Dundee. Skateboarding was an excellent thing to do on a sunny afternoon.
