ATTN: Americans: Bend over!

Out and about in the last couple hours, I noticed a couple of Exxon stations holding at $3.49 while their neighbors were jumping up to $3.56, $3.69, $3.71, even $3.79. It wasn't until I pulled into one to check it out that I noticed why: they were out. I'm willing to bet they were emptied out last night and this morning before they ever had a chance to raise the price (as that's what the price has been for the last few days).

i am staying at a hotel that offers brekky in the lobby in the mornings and every morning some random person decides to talk to me about something. yesterday a guy was telling me how awesome a deal he got on his ford f-350 diesel truck, and how i was so stupid for paying full MSRP for my toyota yaris. a stranger called me stupid for buying a fuel efficient car at full price that i had to be on a waiting list to purchase instead of buying a ridiculous gas guzzler at 2/3 price. well, really he called me a 'damn fool girl.'

Closest gas station to me reads $3.89, which is like 7 cents more then it was a week ago.

I love my Yaris to bits but I would trade it for a Smart in a heartbeat. Soooo adorable!
