Play Won't Get Fooled Again on rockband's drums on expert. the Who got me that way.

Nah, I don't think I have a favourite band. But Pink Floyd is definitely in the top 10 (top 4 if last.fm is anything to go by). Band bashing and exclusive Band heralding is kind of silly.

But man, are they good or what? The Who too.

Correct.  The suits implored them to perform as Led Zeppelin to honor one of the guys who made their career possible in the first place, and they agreed.  After nearly 20 years of standing their ground on this issue, they did it for a good cause.  I certainly don't put this in the same category as the blatant cash-grab that many bands are guilty of. 

There are rumors of a tour, which are being denied, as Plant isn't on board for it.

I know i wanted to learn more about the Who (and i did, thanks people) but since this deviated to a Led Zeppelin debate, i thought this was interesting
